Position 1: Network Management System/Element Management System
Work location: Carlsbad, CA
Duration of project: 6-12 months and extendable
JOB Description:
a) Proficiency with network management protocols and tools such as SNMP, Syslog, RMON, LDAP, AAA, Tivoli and Wireshark, WinPcap, Cacti, Mimic Simulator, Nfdump, and Nfsen
b) Should have experience in config of Networking devices ( Routers, Switches etc)
c) Should have Knowledge of scripting – shell/java/perl scripting preferable
d) Should have system administration skills in Windows, Unix and Linux platforms
e) Should have knowledge in Design, architect, plan and implementation of EMS systems like IBM Tivoli, HP Openview
f) Should have experience in integration, testing & troubleshooting of EMS
Position 2: Modem/System Integration Test Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION:
a. Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of systems engineering or integration
b. Proficient in RF communications, specifically satellite communications
c. Proficient in FEC, Modem Testing
d. Experience in IF/RF Test Set-up test
e. Experience in use of Test & measuring instruments like Vector Signal Generator, Analog Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzers, Protocol Analyzers, BER Meters, Logic Analyzer
f. Experience in configuring routers and networking equipment
g. Experience with ISP, Wireless Carrier, or large network environment
h. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
