Job Title: QA Engineer ( Systems/ Server )

Location: Research Triangle Park, NC, US

Systems QA - Minimum 3 Years Required

Qualifications:
General Duties/Tasks
The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for: 
- Find bugs, defects, and regressions.   
- Design, implement, execute and debug information technology test cases and scripts.   
- Validate and document completion of testing and development.   
- Automate test cases.   
- Verify fixes.
- Work with team to drive product development.
 
Required Experience
- 3+years in server and operating system testing, test methodology, development, execution, and report generation is required.
- Knowledge of product development cycle.
- Be willing to take on technical challenge and be an independent problem solver.
- Proficient programming in at least one scripting language (TCL, Perl, Python, etc.).
- Have a great understanding of enterprise storage and server products.
- Knowledge of version control software.
- Maintain scripts for any releases of software product, run regression, and debug scripts.
 
 
Desired Skills
- Quick learner and highly self-motivated.  
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to manage priority tasks 
- Good team player with the ability to work collaboratively with others 
- Be proactive and independent as well as accountable with a strong sense of ownership. 
- BSCS or MSCS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or other relevant field.
- Networking or storage management software test experience is a plus.
 
Education
- BSCS or MSCS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or other relevant field.
