We Need consultant for QA Testers

Job Title : QA Tester
Location : Houston, TX
Duration : 1 Year
Management Skills :
Need QA Tester with Oil and Gas experience
Experience with creating QA/Testing strategy for developing and deploying home grown/vendor product
Create a detailed test plan (test schedule, test environment, data, regression requirements, test case development, etc.) including timeline - what it takes to deliver quality product
Work closely with project manager and technical lead to make sure that project is on schedule and test plan is aligned with the project plan
Ensures overall quality & schedule adherence for projects / releases within assigned work area.
Create Automation frameworks, Bug tracking tool setup, defect lifecycle management and release planning
Lead, develop and execute test artifacts (test cases, test scripts, associated documentation and procedures - manual and automated).
Leads/execute development of regression test requirements for assigned work area.
Facilitates and oversees test data requirements, capture and conditioning.
Expert at test execution and reporting (Defect identification and monitoring).
Compiles, distributes & presents project / release level test reports (test results, including, defects and statistics).
Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry best practices and chevron standards
Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and using industry and Chevron tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
Act as key point of contact for all QA related activities.
Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage other stakeholders
Expert of testing tools like Quality center, QTP, Load runner and manage its subscription and support
Escalates outstanding or critical issues to ensure test / project success.
Maintains and promotes effective communication with all project/release work streams.
Ensures QA/testing procedures and standards fit project's needs
Qualification:
An ideal candidate will have:
A bachelor or master's degree in computer science or equivalent
8-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and testing with at least 3 years of experience as a QA lead preferably with Oil and Gas companies
Well versed with automation tools and ability to create test frameworks and strategy for testing
Ability to multi-task and focus on priorities
Good communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
Team player and motivator
Expert in working in a high performance team environment with people of diverse skill sets
Preferred:
Prior experience with Chevron
Experience with iLogistics product
