Role- Business Analyst

Location- Arlington, VA

Duration – 6+ months

Need someone Local with Great Communication. Govt. experience is Deal Maker.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, able to work in fast-paced, collaborative environment. Successful applicants will have experience supporting federal government information technology projects and programs. This candidate must have the ability to think about technology in a business context and to define requirements and cost-effective solutions that contribute to a strategic advantage for the business. In this role, the Business Analyst will work with clients and collaborate with Client's in-house technology subject matter experts to implement innovative, next-generation solutions for our clients.

Tasks/Responsibilities/Experience:

· Work as part of a project team and engage directly with clients to identify and document system level requirements

· Capture, track, and close important project tasks and action items

· Develop and maintain project deliverables, including project plans, schedules, risk registries, action item lists, and other project documentation

· Support project management activities including development of regular status reports, management of project spend plans, and other program deliverables

· Gather and distill information from multiple sources, evaluate inputs critically, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.

Education/Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in business, IT, finance, economics, or relevant field of study; Master's degree a plus

· Background in professional services, systems integration, and public sector consulting

· Experience with MS Office and standard desktop business applications

· Experience with federal proposal writing, editing, and pricing a plus

· Active government security clearance (NACI, MBI, Secret, etc.) a plus; must be able to pass a background check in support of federal contract requirements
