Duration: 1 year

8+ years of Development experience in Object-Oriented Analysis and
Programming and working with mixture of new and legacy systems.
Strong experience in designing and deploying mission critical,
infrastructure software that runs in a real-time, multi-threaded environment

Required Skills:

Strong Core Java:

Data structures, design patterns and collections
Multi-threaded programming
Java standard APIs
Distributed systems
Unix/Linux shell
Fixed Income business / analytical knowledge /eTrading
Good communication skills, experience of front office environments

Desired Skills:

Eclipse IDE (3.8)
Junit
Java performance and tuning
rid computing frameworks

Req.# 2

Location: NYC, NY

Duration: 6 months

Responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment and support of all Line of Business
e-trading pieces of software within the Municipal Bonds group. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Core Java, multi-threading
Flex
Shell scripts
Good database skills
Trading or Investment banking experience


Full System Development Life cycle
Implement, test and deploy new/existing applications.
Perform maintenance and enhancements to existing applications
Support of new and existing applications
Candidates should note that this list is not exhaustive and duties are liable to change from time to time in line with the needs of the department.
Experience in working with a dynamic environment is important.    ​
