Position: Linux Kernel Developer
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 12+ Months
Mode: Phone then Skype

 Qualifications:

·         The candidate needs to understand high-performance driver framework, CETH, and modern Ethernet driver architecture.  

·         Should have a very solid understanding on Linux Kernel programming, NAPI, interrupt and CPU affinity, and PCIe/SRIOV.

·         Should have extensive performance tuning skill and experience. Familiar with Intel X86 architecture, familiar with ARM a plus.

Task:

·         Design, develop, and optimize the new driver's architecture in order to achieve high performance based on new hardware features and new packet processing scenarios etc.

·         Porting some commercial or open source driver to the new frame work with requested fundamental features and pass reliable stress testing  

·         Further performance tuning and features optimization to meet the required performance number and functionalities.
