Java Developer
Duration 6 months
Location Bellevue, WA
Technologies : Core Java, J2EE, Design Patterns, JSP
Good to have : Exp on Spring
Front End: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
Good to have: Exp on NodeJS, other JS libraries.
Version Control: GIT, SVN, ClearCase
Web Server: Apache Geronimo, Tomcat
Defect logging tools: JIRA, ClearQuest.
Other: Maven, CI using Jenkins
Exp level: Usually 4+ years with strong experience on Java / J2EE technologies.
Roles & Responsibilities varies according to exp level & usually include:
1. Strong contribution within the team.
2. Participate in design discussions
3. Mentor new team members
4. Participate in code review
5. Present design document for the features that the candidate is working on (if applicable)
6. Test case review for the feature
7. Setting up QA Handoff for the feature & bug fix.
8. If lead then
a. Code Rollout, Production logs monitoring.
b. Co-coordinating with team members for release status
c. Updating the release status during standup
d. Overall release related tasks.
