Job Title: UX Product Manager
Location: Midtown NYC, NY
Duration : 6+ Months
Specific Responsibilities:
esearch industry best practices and trends related to social networking websites and applications.
Oversee the innovation, design and deployment of social networking applications for an exclusive, high-profile clientele.
Lead the SDLC through the establishment of a customer-centric social networking platform.
Analysis of the organization's business needs with the ability to translate requirements for automation use cases into design and implementation plans.
Proactive review of environment to develop new configuration management policies.
Keep informed on business trends and the latest technical innovations to help forecast solutions and anticipate emerging business changes.
Effectively communicate the business impact of technical and non-technical information.
Influence the development of decisions regarding application changes and provide technical leadership and vision.
Participate in additional strategic initiatives while partnering with senior leadership, service providers as well as data and technology teams.
Evaluate and develop strategic partnerships where necessary for the success of the product.
Manage regular interactions with internal stakeholder teams (Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Legal, and Technology) to ensure stakeholder needs are incorporated into product plans.
Position Requirements:
MS, MBA or PhD in Business, Finance or Computer Science.
7+ years' experience in product design and development, specifically related to social networking platforms and applications.
Strong understanding of social networking strategies and technical security requirements.
Proven track record leading cross functional teams through the SDLC process.
Hands on experience with UX design thinking and strategy.
Ability to liaise effectively with internal business units and external vendors.
Proven track record in creative problem solving, team leadership and high level decision making.
Knowledgeable of multiple functional areas including sales, marketing, finance and technology teams.
Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, specifically related to new product launches and improvements.
Proficient in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
