Published Description:

• Responsible for discovery, scoping, and qualifying customer infrastructure to determine fit with the Pivotal solution.
• Must have experience in migrating applications from on-premise to public cloud.
• Gather requirements and understand customer's business needs to advise on system architecture. Craft solutions that help customers leverage dedicated, public, and hybrid
• More than 3 years of experience in solution, application, data, and infrastructure engineering
• More than 4 years of demonstrated project leadership, facilitation, and customer service experience
• Working knowledge of engineering, developing, deploying, and administering customer-facing applications in the enterprise
• Experience with cloud and virtual environments
• Understanding of implementing applications in a cloud infrastructure and of how to make an application cloud-aware
• Operational experience in application server technologies (J2EE / .NET)
• Understanding and working knowledge of software development life cycle models, including Agile and Waterfall
• Programming experience, working knowledge of databases, and knowledge of security standards for cloud and web-based applications
• Solid understanding of different operating system environments (UNIX, Linux, Windows)
• Experience collaborating with corporate executives and senior leaders to implement critical projects
