Position: Devops Automation Engineer

Location: Seattle, WA/ Dallas TX/Monterey CA

Duration: 6 Months

 

DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, Continuous Integration and Deployment, Release Engineering

 

. DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure Automation/Engineering including setting up from scratch a Continuous Integration environment complete with automated unit testing.

 

Setup Jenkins server from scratch on an EC2 over VPC. Design & Implement a Jenkins job that monitors updates to a github repo, automatically fetching the latest commit, compiles the code, and deploys gzipped files to an S3 bucket configured to serve a gzipped encoded static website. S3 file permissions and metadata information are set during upload.

 

Setup Multi-Factor Authentication

Setup automated unit testing via Jenkins, javascript, phantomjs and node.js

Setup Amazon's Simple Notification Service topics to notify all interested parties during the update process.
