The goal of the project is the migration and upgrade of mission critical financial research, portfolio management and trading databases from MSSQL Server 2008 (Windows 2003) to MSSQL Server 2014 on a shared Windows 2012 platform.
The desired candidate
• Has MSSQL Server administration experience
• Has Hands-on experience with MSSQL Server upgrades and migrations
• Has experience in migrating MSSQL Server databases ( experience in migrating to 2014 and Always On technology is preferred but not necessary.
• Working Knowledge in VMWare Environments
Experience in Financial /Hedge Funds exp is a plus
Must have Excellent communication skills
