Job Title: POS QA and Technical Writer
Location: Union, NJ
Duration : 12+ Months
Below are the requirements for the Script/Technical writer consultant:
General
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Point of Sale experience preferred
Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
Analytical and Organization skills
Attention to detail
Test Script Writing:
Ability to write scripts that will be manually executed, positive and negative testing
Ability to test script scenarios for verification purposes
Ability to read and understand business requirement documents in order to write scripts if functionality does not exist currently
Ability to detect defects found during script writing and log them
Technical Writing:
Ability to use information from test scripts and business requirements to write/edit/format end user documentation in the form of:
POS manuals
Quick Reference Guides
Loss Prevention materials
Ability to create Help Desk documentation in the form of:
Trouble shooting guides
FAQ's
