Position Role: Database Architect

Location: Irvine, CA

Rate : Open

Project Duration: 3+ months (will extend)

Level: Architect level consultants (8-10+ years)

 

Project Summary

Our requirement is to have a single common database shared between many applications with the API layer. Currently all the our applications have their own database(SQL, MONGO etc) and information cannot be shared across currently. We need a person who will analyze the situation/requirement and come up with a best possible approach and work further with us.
Excellent client communication is must. Should be able to work onsite and should have hands on.

 

Responsibilites - In detail

·         Hands on Azure(Storage, Tables, Queues, Blobs)

·         MS SQL Server 2012, PL SQL, triggers, Stored procedures, Analysis services

·         Database replication (PUB/SUB), backups, logs

·         Database design for best performance

·         Experience with providing solution database consolidation(Common database)

·         Security management + PCI +HIPPA

·         Database performance tuning

·         Capacity planning

·         Auditing

·         Data Migration, redundancy
