TrackWise Web Services Developer
Location : LA suburbs,USA
Responsible development, unit testing, and review of Java web services on the TrackWise platform in alignment with
standard approach. Provides status reporting, logging of activities, and development deliverables in alignment with
project standards and schedule commitments. Participates in overall TrackWise design and issues resolution including
design proposals, root cause analysis, and knowledge transfer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential duties of this role are to troubleshoot, develop, review, and provide design recommendations for TrackWise Java web services. In performing this role, it is expected that a knowledge of TrackWise configuration and Java web services will be applied to help with the overall workflow design, development, and resolution of issues encountered during testing.
Review business requirements and develop technical solutions. Manage and deliver on assigned technical aspects of projects.
1) Recommend and implement required changes in the workflow and Java web services
2) Help the team with TrackWise support issues
3) Participate in workflow configuration troubleshooting
4) Support design documentation generation and review to ensure accuracy
5) Develop and execute J Unit testing for Complaint workflow Java web services in alignment with standard approach
6) Resolve J Unit testing discrepancies and document outcomes in alignment with standard approach
7) Assist with review of Java web services code and documentation of findings
8) Assist the team in any other TrackWise development related activities as per the team’s needs
Qualifications:
Good understanding of business concepts and knowledge of industry technologies. Experience in all stages of systems development and support. Strong team player, willing and able to support other team members as needed to achieve project goals. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to motivate, coach and lead.
Resource must have knowledge of the following:
TrackWise 8 configuration
TrackWise 8 Java web services development
Java 7 and Axis 2
JMS using ActiveMQ and/or WebSphere MQ
.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred or relevant work experience.
5+ years of systems experience plus 5 years minimum of Java development experience including web services and 3
years minimum experience with TrackWise
