Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer in Test with Java exp

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration : Long term 

*** Must be GC or US Citizen ***

Description:

As a Sr. Software Engineer in Test, this role will have a breadth of knowledge and success in conducting functional, performance, and fault tolerance testing as well as the ability to comprehend requirements, complete work in a timely manner and communicate information effectively. 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and document test plans, scenarios, scripts and procedures 

Write code for automated testing

Run manual tests wherever necessary

Come up with creative ways to automate as much testing as possible

Investigate failed tests

Log defects as needed and participate in triage process

Required:

3+ years of expert level coding skills in Java (recent experience in back-end Java desired) 

Extensive working experience in automated testing using JUnit/TestNG, JMeter, SoapUI, etc.

3+ years of experience in deploying J2EE applications (in Tomcat, JBoss etc.)

Working knowledge of RESTful APIs , XML, JSON, network programming and message exchange systems

5+ years of experience in performance, scalability, and fault tolerance testing

Must be a team player, should be able to get along well with others

Great communication skills (including active listening and comprehending requirements)
