Cargill is looking for a SAP SCM-APO consultant for an approximate 3 month assignment with the possibility to extend. Target start date would be 11/24 or 12/1 if needed.

Specific Skill Required: SAP SCM-APO consultant with experience with multiple SAP-APO projects and implementations. In particular, consultant must be skilled in the SNP optimization algorithm including experience tuning the optimization model and defining cost structures to drive model behavior. In addition the consultant should be skilled in performing design, configuration, testing, and implementation within the SNP and PP/DS areas. Knowledge of CIF, master data, integration between SNP and PPDS, and ECC production planning, purchasing, and subcontracting integration is also required. Consultant must have good communication skills and be able to work in a team setting with team members of varying levels of expertise in the business process and system solution.

Position description:
Consultant will provide Cargill with consulting services in the area of SAP-APO, with emphasis on the area of Supply Network Planning (SNP) and Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS). This includes, but is not limited to:
-Tuning and refinement of SNP optimization models to achieve desired business results
-Working with business end users on what-if scenarios associated with their SNP optimization models
-Deliverables will include general process documentation, knowledge transfer to Cargill project resources, functional designs, configuration rationales, and other supporting documents as required.
-Cutover and implementation support of the supply planning solution for one or more businesses in Cargill. Implementation support will include supporting both the project team as well as business end users directly. Support may involve travel to end user home sites for direct support as necessary based on hypercare/project need.

-This role will also be expected to interact with business end users so good communication skills is required.
-This role will also be expected to teach/consult with existing staff.
