Title: Sr. Java Developer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 3-6 Months
Responsibilities:
The candidates need to be local to Bay Area, CA ,close to San Jose, Palo Alto, CA.
Designs, develops, and implements web-based Java applications to support business applications. Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and a minimum of 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Reports to the Application Enhancement Team Lead.
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience with Java web applications.
- 3+ years experience with relational database and SQL; Oracle preferred.
- 1+ years experience with any web UI framework, GWT or Angular.js preferred.
- 1+ years experience with JMS and message bus technology.
- Experience with and good working understanding of Linux.
- Understand the full process of SDLC.
Preference given to experience with: Service Oriented Architecture, Test Drive Development/TDD, Spring, restful services, and JQuery.
