Title: Business Analyst
Location: Saint Cloud, MN & Minneapolis, MN
Duration: 1 Year

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Key contributor to software solution implementations and system integration projects.
§ Consult with customer to facilitate the understanding of feature/functionality of software solutions.
§ Gathers, analyzes, and documents client and business requirements in collaboration with client staff and other departments and staff.
§ Contributes to the analysis, planning, logical design, development, testing and maintenance of client engagement deliverables based on the client's requirements.
§ Coordinates, develops and participates in the execution of integration and acceptance test plans during the customer engagements.
Consultative Service Delivery
§ Consults with clients to understand client business objectives.
§ Demonstrates active listening skills with clients and coworkers
§ Thorough questioning ability to dig beyond client's stated requirements to understand true business needs.
Building Relationships
§ Demonstrates strong customer relationship management and leadership skills.
§ Works closely with the professional services and development teams to assist in the delivery of our technology based products and solutions.
Communication
§ Demonstrates strong communication (verbal & written), with the ability to effectively communicate with peers, non-technical personnel & clients at their level, and to represent WKFS with clients.
§ Strong client facing and presentation skills.
§ Prepares and delivers educational materials necessary to transition the support of the technologies to the appropriate client staff. Develops presentation materials.
Analytical Thinking
§ Generates alternative solutions to meet client requirements. Identifies software configuration, integration API's, and/or data mapping options that address client requirements.
§ Group facilitation to develop mutual understanding of client business processes. JAD and brainstorming sessions between client and WKFS project teams.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education:
§ BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or related field or equivalent related experience. Experience:
§ 3+ years as a business systems analyst in software development and/or related experience.
§ Professional services experience (Consulting) strongly preferred. Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications: (First list requirements, followed by preferences.)
§ Demonstrates ambition, self motivation, action-oriented.
§ Strong analytical, trouble shooting and team-based problem solving skills.
§ Understanding of software development using multiple life-cycle methods.
§ Working knowledge of project management methodology and best practices.
§ Large-system integration project experience.
§ Banking background strongly preferred.
§ Relational Database Knowledge (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server) preferred.
