Title: Web/UI Developer (Local Preferred)
Location: Mansfield, MA
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6+ Months
Responsibilities:
Must have experience with Java UI service layer work and how it connects to the UI as part of the duties. MUST also have examples of public URLs that we can send to the manager for review prior to phone interview.
The key theme going forward is that they have some solid Java experience within the scope of UI work and the job description. Another good point is the managers like to see people who have public facing websites that show the work they've done or a URL of the projects they've done.
Create UI Web Services in Java that use JSON
· Using Javascript…. JQuery or Straight JavaScript to connect to said services to make the data available to UI components
· Wire JSON data to UI components
· And as a secondary know HTML/CSS, but I bet if the above is a strong suit than that will be presumed.
• Information architecture and user experience design
• Framework selection
• Visual and color scheme design
• Sleeves-rolled-up coding
Experience in one or more of the following technologies:
• HTML(5, of course!), CSS, and JavaScript
• jQuery
• Bootstrap
• Kendo UI
• jQuery Mobile
• TopCoa
You should understand
• Unit Testing, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery
• DevOps philosophy
• Agile development
• Responsive design
