Job Title: Information Systems - Sr. Engineer, Software Engineering (Speciality)
Start/End Dates: 8/26/2013 - 8/25/2014
Work Location: O'Fallon, Missouri
Job Description: Responsible for the analysis, design, and delivery of authentication and authorization solutions. Define requirements for new applications adhering to MasterCard standards, processes and best practices.
Major Accountabilities:
Plan, and design technical solutions and alternatives to meet business requirements in adherence with MasterCard standards, processes and best practices.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge/Experience:
o Minimum of 5 years Java development experience
o Knowledge of IBM Tivoli Product suite required - TDS /TAM /TFIM
o Familiarity with UNIX operating systems required
o XML, HTTP, SOAP, JSP, EJB
o WebSphere preferred
o Broad understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is required
o Agile experience preferred
o Knowledge of Information Security standards and principals preferred

o Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, and proactive
o Must have the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment.
o Must provide the necessary skills to have a high degree of initiative and self-motivation to drive results.
o Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
