Position:SAP Business Objects Developer

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Length: 4 to 6 months

Rate: $50/hr

Interview: We will try for Skype to hire but will be checking in person with this manager about it tomorrow.

DESCRIPTION:

 

The SAP Business Objects Developer is a key role in the Enterprise Business Intelligence Technical Services and Architecture team and works closely with business leaders and users to define and design the BI Dashboards, Reports presentation and Information Delivery for business intelligence applications. This includes coaching and training BI Developers and internal users in the use of business intelligence presentation tools to enhance business decision-making capability. This role will also be responsible for design and implementation of the BI Tools and architecture to support a next generation data warehouse. Develop standards, policies and procedures for the form, structure and attributes of the business intelligence tools and systems. Researches new technology and develops business cases to support enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions including reports, dashboards, scorecards and mobile BI content delivery.

 

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

•             Minimum of 5 + years’ Experience in the design and implementation with SAP Business Objects BI Product Suite ( Web Intelligence , Explorer , Xcelsius , Visual Intelligence  and Mobile BI)

•             Minimum of 5 + years of experience with Business Intelligence/  Datawarehouse data store design ( Datawarehouse / Datamart / Operational Data Store) environment

•             Hands on Experience in Dashboard Design and Development using Xcelsius  Designer/ Business Objects Dashboards Design

•             Experience with Business Objects Enterprise / SAP Business Intelligence Analytics Platform 4.0

•             Hands on Experience in Universe Design using Universe Designer / Universe Design Tool

•             Hands on experience with Web Intelligence , QAAWS , Live Office , Infoview

•             Hands on experience in the design of Business Objects Enterprise Server Platform Infrastructure

•             Knowledge of business intelligence best practice processes, tools, standards and practices

•             Strong analytical and conceptual design skills; strong problem-solving skills

 

 PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

•             Experience in development of reporting and analytics business capabilities, strategy and roadmap

•             Experience using data visualization tools such as SAP Visual Intelligence, SAP Dashboard Builder would be a plus

•             Experience in definition of Business Intelligence technical architectures

•             Hands on experience with relational and star schema data modeling is a plus

•             Demonstrated competency in accurately identifying the scope of work and preparing thorough, accurate and detailed schedule estimates.

•             Experience with In-memory analytics tools
