· This person will have basic understanding of object-oriented languages such as C# or Java.
· Working knowledge of SQL to provide database server performance tuning and profiling.
· Work with the IT Production Support and Operations teams to understand monitoring capabilities so they can provide feedback into the test execution processes.
· Hands on experience working with production monitoring tools and analyzing monitoring results.
· Hands on experience at implementing a variety of performance improving strategies, including but not limited to, platform changes (e.g. operating systems, jvm settings, database settings), infrastructure optimization options (e.g. WAN Accelerators), and code changes (e.g. different loop structures, object instantiation techniques, etc).
· Be the lead performance Architect contact for the performance center of excellence
· Adhering to the Center of Excellence policies and procedures
· Validate the technical approach and strategy for each individual performance testing engagement
· Coach, mentor, and influence peers (performance test leads) and test analysts on robust performance test designs
· Must have effective communication skills to share testing knowledge and test strategy in a collaborative atmosphere
Experience across technology disciplines
· Proficient with Java development
· High proficiency in LoadRunner 9.x/11.x
· Proficient in performance testing of Web Services
· Understanding of .Net applications
· XML, HTML knowledge
· VmWare (ESX) knowledge
· Oracle 10g and up, SOA, Oracle Application Servers JMeter, Neoload, Webload, LoadUI
