Role: BI/Data Mgmt Analyst       

Location: Somers, NY

Duration: Long Term

 

MUST be highly experienced in DATA MODELING

 

Role supports data modeling needs for MDM project development, under the guidance of the MDM & Data Design team leads.  

 

Primary Responsibilities include:

Perform data modeling for new relational database, and potentially PBC Beverage Data Warehouse; collaborate with team lead/senior designer to create data solutions for business and systems requirements.

Adhere to, and enforce, data standards and best practices.

Attend requirements gathering meetings with team lead, senior designer, application teams, Database Administrators (DBAs), and/or business partners to understand business needs.

Support application teams with data identification and analysis.

Convert logical data model to physical model and database in development environment; transition to DBAs for test and production environments.

Create and maintain Metadata, including table/column definitions.

Prepare, maintain and publish documentation, including business transformation logic (Source-to-Target Mappings), data models and data dictionary reports                      

 Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years dedicated Data Modelling/Design experience, required

Experience working with SQL and UNIX

Experience with ER/Studio or ERwin, required

Strong analytical and communications skills

Team player; ability to work well with changing priorities; demonstrated flexibility
