Title: Business Analyst (EAD, GC or Citizens only) 50/HR on C2C
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Interview: Skype/Phone if not local
Duration: Long Term
Description: This position will be located within the Enterprise BI area and will be responsible for working with IT customers to gather requirements related to data needs. Qualified candidates will have stellar verbal and written communication with a business based aggressive personality that is driven to succeed and deliver highest quality product. Must be confident enough to challenge "status quo" with fact based suggestion to improve. Will have sense of ownership and responsibility for outputs. A good quality for this person to have is a healthy "distrust" of technology and requires proof, wants to find root cause and understand deeper details. Has a "trust but verify" attitude. Need a person that has a constant desire to learn and improve, strives for constant personal and team improvement within the given budget.
This position requires NO specific software skills in modeling or development, but understanding of relational database concepts, experience in enterprise application environment) and retail systems experience - a plus) is needed.
Requirements:
- Background in Quality Assurance software lifecycle
- 5-10 years' experience in technical lead or system architecture position with customer interaction and experience directing a development team is needed.
- Understanding what and how ETL is done (not doing it) is a plus. Outcome of this person's work will result in requirements for offshore to complete ETL development for production environment.

- Leadership: Ability to manage and lead meetings, expectations, needs and resource utilization while meeting the overall objective of assigned efforts.
- Verbal Communication: Must be able to interact with all levels of IT customers (developers, analysts and managers) effectively in meetings in order to gather requirements, share pertinent information and obtain agreement and consensus.
Written Communication: Must be able to clearly document meeting outcomes, requirements, functional expectations and descriptions of future state needs
