Job Purpose:
Applications Management Services (AMS) practice leverages our extensive experience in enterprise application implementations, custom development and system integration projects. Among the major packages, we have implemented hundreds of SAP, Oracle, Lawson and Siebel applications. Building on this strong legacy, our AMS practice includes professionals who are responsible for maintaining client applications and technology infrastructure
Should have 7+ years' hands on experience on SAP BI. Should have strong experience on implementation, support and development projects. Should showcase confidence, good communication and leadership skills. Should have done client facing roles.
SAP BI skillset
* Should have strong expertise in Extraction, Modelling and Reporting areas of BW.
* Should be able to design the end-to-end solution for clients reporting requirements.
* Should have deep understanding on SAP BW architecture and its components.
* Should have the capability to analyse and suggest the road map to the client.
* Should be up to date on on-going SAP releases and plans for SAP BW.
* Should have strong experience on debugging the ABAP code and write ABAP according to standards.
* Should have experience in performance tuning and delivering best use of BI statistics
* Should be able to resolve issue of any criticality in BW and guide the team in problem solving.
* Should be able to understand and review business requirement and prepare functional specification.
* Should have ability to suggest the best practices and useful BI content to the client.
* Should have good knowledge and experience on enhancing existing data flows,delta concepts and authorizations.
* Should be capable of analyzing performance improvement scope within the existing data flow.
* Should have strong understanding on different functional processes like SD , MM , FICO and their integration with SAP BI
* Should be capable of providing Error Trend Analysis, Change Management and Problem Management.
* Knowledge on SAP BPC and SAP BI-BO integration is preferable.
Reporting & Analysis
* Should have strong experience in creating and modifying queries, workbooks and dashboard.
* Should have experience in creating complex BI reports.
* Should have good experience in working with variables and report authorizations.
* Should be good at methods like RRI, Cell editor, Exception aggregation.
* Should have an understanding of report functions and formula creation.
* Should be proficient in analyzing queries and their performance.
* Should be able to suggest industry top used reports in any domain.
* Should be able to understand latest BI reporting tools in the market and identify gap.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
* Should be able to Understand the business process and the technical solution implemented to address the business needs
* Should be able to initiate, drive and deliver end-to-end BW solution with proper planning.
* Should have in depth knowledge of SAP BI as a tool, with more emphasis on troubleshooting, debugging and performance improvement tasks.
* Should have good written and oral communication skills to communicate with the business to resolve support tickets.
* Ensure SAP functional best practices are adhered to during Incident and Problem investigation and resolution
* Should have knowledge on ITIL guidelines.
Project Management (Knowledge/Experience):
* Experience to lead team independently with strong team player attitude.
* Should attend and actively participate in project status meeting with team lead/manager/client.
* Should be capable of handling SLA's.
* Should be able to communicate effectively with the team members.
* Should be able to identify gaps, risks and effectively handle them on proactive basis.
* Should be capable of prepare and effectively explain presentations for clients and team members.
Soft Skills:
* Should have excellent problem solving, and is able to work effectively in a less structured environment and manage time.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for articulating architecture and design principles.
* Should be able to coordinate with onsite/ functional/development teams independently.
Dynamic with a strong sense of responsibility and positive attitude.
