Job Title: Senior Data Modeler
Location: Denver, CO

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Ø 7+ years in Information Technology with expertise in Data Modeling for Data Warehouse/Data Mart development, Data Analysis for Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) and Data Warehousing (OLAP)/Business Intelligence (BI) applications.
Ø This would include:
· Third-Normal Form data models
· Data Marts, Subject Area, or Functional Area models
· Star and Snowflake schemas
· Fact and Dimension tables
Ø Knowledge and experience in process improvement, normalization/de-normalization, data extraction, data cleansing, and data manipulation.
Ø Experience with overall SDLC including requirements gathering, development, testing, debugging, deployment, documentation, and production support.
Ø Experience facilitating requirements meetings with business and technical stakeholders to resolve conflicts and drive decisions.
Ø Experience implementing Slowly Changing Dimensions (Type I, II, and III).
Ø Experience and best practices with Metadata management. This Includes developing, documenting, and maintaining logical and physical models in compliance with enterprise standards and project metadata definitions within the metadata repository.
Ø Ability to learn and use new applications within a minimal possible time.
Ø Documentation and technical specifications using MSWord, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
Ø 7+ years of interaction experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server etc.) SQL, PL/SQL, and Transactional SQL (T-SQL)
Ø 7+ years of experience of strong technical writing experience creating detailed data modeling designs
