Position              :               Informatica Developer

Description

The primary role for this individual will be to serve as a dedicated development resource to a project team supporting and enhancing data integrations using Informatica and web services.

 

Major Job Responsibilities

·         Development and documentation of medium to complex flows of data across transactional systems, databases, and other data sources.

·         Work with other programmers, designers, and architects to make sure that the components meet integration requirements.

·         Support unit, functional, system and performance testing of integrations.

• Schedule and execute data integration jobs using a built-in, time or event-based scheduler that enables automated operations.

·         Provide timely project status reports and escalate issues appropriately.

 

Essential Qualifications

·         Informatica PowerCenter and PowerExchange for Web Services 9.1;  Linux/Unix OS

·         Expertise in the development of data transformations, reusable mapping templates, and workflows.

·         Experience with Oracle database 11g (SQL & PL/SQL), MS SQL Server 2005/2008 (TSQL)

• Experience with database development (i.e. PL/SQL, Toad, etc)

• The individual must be detailed-oriented and possess strong technical skills, effective interpersonal skills and advanced problem solving ability.
• Ability to work alone or within a team environment, and possess strong oral and written communication skills.

 

Additional Experience a plus:

·         Informatica PowerExchange for Web Services 9.1
