Job description
· Strong Server side Java experience.
· Good understanding for Linux.
· Nice to have HDFS (Hadoop Distributed File System) experience
Responsibilities
· Understand Roadmap and collaborate with different project Teams, Business Analysts, PMs and other key supporting teams to estimate and plan work.
· Maintain project plan and be responsible for all project deliverables from DEV, QA, build and other teams.
· Technically lead engineers and work with quality assurance lead/engineers in a distributed development team environment for deliverables.
· Report critical issues to management effectively, timely and with clarity; Report to management about plan, progress and status in effective and timely manner.
· Hands-on system design and development, as needed.
· Participate in the governance process of SDLC, product roadmap and execution plan as a contributing member representing development team.
· Evaluate technology components and make recommendations, participate in the Brain Storming sessions to roll-out governance model for Big Data Platform.
