Position: Junior Business System Analyst

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: Long Term

 

Description (roles, responsibilities, skills required, skills desired):

·         Must have 4+ years of business system analysis experience. Some healthcare hands on experience is required.

·         Must have good understanding of healthcare Medicaid business

·         Conduct business system analysis, and collect business requirements to translate them into data specifications + provide high level solutions

·         Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.

·         Designs new business workflows by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; constructing swim lane diagrams; constructing use case diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.

·         Analyze existing or new file mapping and work with internal & external vendor teams.

·         Designs mockup screens and work with business stakeholders & Enterprise architects to get signoff; work collaboratively with cross functional teams to refine requirements; work with development team and tailors requirements accordingly.

·         Create user stories; Maintains backlogs; Participate in sprint grooming sessions; Participate in daily standup meetings.

·         Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Work with QA team to review test cases which meets requirements; Traces the test cases back to requirements.

·         Provide QA and UAT testing support; Provide implementation and post-implementation support as required.

·         Works in both waterfall and agile methodology of development; Should have knowledge about all phases of SDLC life cycle.

·         Knowledge on blueprint will be an added advantage. Blueprint will be used to capture the requirements and used for requirements traceability.

·         Techno functional BSAs will have added advantage as on several instances may need to query on the back-end tables to analyze, understand data anomalies
