ETL Developer
Location: Philadelphia, PA, 19103
Responsibilities:
· Develop and test ETL components to high standards of quality and performance.
· Perform design/code/test reviews for ETL components.
· Assist with planning and execute releases of ETL components into production.
· Develop or enhance Pentaho plugins (Java) as needed.
· Provide operational support for the analytics infrastructure.
· Research, identify and recommend technical and operational improvements resulting in improved reliability and/or efficiencies in maintaining and/or developing the application.
· Evaluate and advise on technical aspects of open work requests in the product backlog with the project lead.
Skills:
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
· 1 to 3 years' experience with ETL, SQL, Java and Unix/Linux a must
· 1 to 3 or more years of experience with ETL Development
· 1 to 3 years of IT work experience in business intelligence tools and systems.
· Extensive experience with one or more ETL Administration platforms (Informatica/Snaplogic/Pentaho/Talend/Stich/Alooma)
· Experience with data warehouse concepts/architecture in high volume, real-time transactions and batch ETL jobs
· Strong Perl programming skills, PERL DBI module & multithreaded
· Strong Oracle SQL programming skills
· Working knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and data warehouse front-end tools
· Extensive knowledge of data warehouse and data mart concepts
· Experience with full SDLC and Agile development methodology
· C, Java, Python, any Big Data tool experience a big plus
· Experience with information security and access control protocols
· Experience in Debugging/ QA Testing
