 Skills and Competencies

 Hands-on experience with SAS Financial Crimes Suite in a Unix-based environment.

• Ability to develop, troubleshoot and optimize SAS AML Financial crime suite of applications.
• 8 Plus years of hands-on experience with Development in SAS AML, Java, JavaScript, JSP, XML / JSON, C#, ASP.NET Webforms. ASP.NET, Web Services, Apache
• Experience working with large amounts of data in relational databases e.g. SQL Server and Oracle.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting and tuning database code and queries.
• Experience working with Agile teams and participating in program and team level activities.
• Hands-on experience working with enterprise source control software and change management
• Preferred experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket
• Ability to coach, teach and mentor team 
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express and explain complex technical concepts to business users and non-technical team members.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Operating as part of a team organizing, planning and executing projects

  Primary Responsibilities

 Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation

• Estimates timelines and technical efforts for planning and implementation
• Works closely with agile team members, scrum masters, product management and enterprise architecture.
• Works with the program level team to coordinate efforts across multiple agile teams.
• Assigns and directs the work of team members
• May act in liaison capacity with other departments, divisions and organizations
• Operates with considerable latitude for independent action or decision
