C++ Developer 

Position Description 
We are looking for experienced C++ developers who will be joining an existing team. There are openings that include experienced but junior developers as well as highly experienced and skilled C++ developers who are familiar with modern development techniques. This role will help with modernizing a 20+ year old mission critical application that assures the safety of millions of people internationally. 


Your future duties and responsibilities 
Responsibilities will include working closely with the Project Manager, Software Architect and other developers on the detailed technical design of a solution to meet functional, performance and quality objectives. You will be responsible for investigating, evaluating and recommending solutions for complex technical problems, and implementing the designs / solutions in code. Other responsibilities include: design, construction, testing, documentation and implementation of C++ based business systems, i.e. identify and evaluate C++ design options, coding C++ programs, preparing test plans / scripts / data, performing system and integration testing, and supporting user acceptance testing. 


Required qualifications to be successful in this role 
Our ideal candidate will have: 


• Minimum 3 years C++ professional (post-college) coding in any Linux or UNIX environment 
• Experience with a code version control system 
• Linux or UNIX Script writing (Perl, Shell, AWK, Ksh) 
• QT Experience an asset
• DB2 experience an asset 
• AIX experience an asset 
• UNIX Script writing (Perl, Shell, AWK, Ksh)
 
Additional Notes:
The hiring manager is attempting to obtain more clarification on this role.  So far he's been able to obtain the following:
 
They are looking we should add to the criteria that they can explain the 4 aspects of object oriented programming.
Some experience in static code analysis tools, some experience in UI, some experience in Java, Javascript and HTML.

This is a CRITICAL position and we have ZERO resumes. Need resumes ASAP. We are at the verge of losing these roles.
