Hadoop Administrator

Location:Sunnyvale, CA

Contract on C2C  12+ months

H1B:Locals prefered

 

Looking for someone with strong experience in building and administering Hadoop clusters.

 

Requirements:

 

* Must have Hadoop administration experience. (at least 1-2 years).

* Experience in handling 50+ DN (data nodes)

* Must understand the roles of various components in building Hadoop clusters, e.g.: hdfs, NM (NodeManager), RM (ResourceManager), DD, kerberos authentication, etc.

* Good understanding of big data/distributed technologies.

* Experience with Splunk and Mesos is an added advantage.

* Knowledge of storage technologies is nice to have
