SAP BW - Sr. Techno Functional Consultant with CRM Experience " to join our team in " Sunnyvale, CA".
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Conducts data analysis, functional and technical design, and implementation of solutions for the Business Intelligence using SAP BI technologies and dashboard tools: SAP BW, Bex Query, SAP BO Webi 4.1, Informatica, Tableau and ad-hoc reporting. • Provides SAP BI functional and technical expertise to identify, evaluate, oversee BI LEAP project from requirements gathering to production deployments and resolve data issues. • Collaborate with team to automate solutions that are cost effective and meet user requirements. • Employs professional concepts and selects efficient and appropriate problem-solving methods and techniques. • Responsible for obtaining solutions to complex information systems problem that may directly impact the Company's general business operations. • Works with colleagues and users to investigate significant, complex business requirements and problems, contributing to improvements in automated components of new or changed processes/procedures, organization and equipment. • Ensures functional quality of delivered application capabilities. • Works with colleagues and users in specifying information flows, processes/procedures and data objects that will meet the business requirements. • Participate and lead business requirements gathering and defining metrics/KPI's to satisfy client business objectives. • Involves in Business Process Mapping and Fit gap analysis as needed • Write/review functional specification and participate in technical specification documentation reviews based on business requirements • Collaborate/review the designs BW subject areas, dashboards, and reports for LEAP project • Uses analysis skills to immediately resolve issues and perform root cause analysis to identify and prevent recurrence at project deployment. • Assists colleagues and users in defining acceptance tests for automated systems. • Work and lead with cross-functional linked teams to address business and/or systems issues.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree with specialization in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or the equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years in Enterprise Data Warehouse (SAP BW techno/functional SME), as a Technical Systems Analyst supporting business function specific to Customer Service and Customer Experience areas.
- Ability to perform functional and technical analysis based on business requirements, and create detailed functional and technical design, code, test, debugs, document, and maintain applications required.
- Must have strong hands-on knowledge and experience with the following areas, and ready to perform hands-on work as required on these areas:
- SAP Business Warehouse
- SAP Business Explorer (BEx) Query
- SAP BO Webi 4.1 or higher
- Plus to have:
- BODS/Informatica ETL tool
- Tableau Dashboard or other BI equivalent dashboard experience
- Demonstrate good knowledge of ETL design and architecture
- Demonstrate good understanding of Dimensional modeling and star schema
- Data mapping / data conversion required
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding and following SDLC methodology and conduct code reviews
- Good analytical and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple critical tasks and projects at same time
- Experience in systems and data analysis based on business requirements, and BI Business Warehouse functional and system design
- Must be able to work in distributed team environment with the ability to interact and communicate with all levels of staff and project management from both the business and the technical areas, with the ability to keep discussions at the appropriate level of abstraction.
- Possess the ability to influence business and technical decisions, explain procedures, and advise on BI system design decisions.
Funtional Knowledge of SAP CRM Services modules – Service Request,management, Complaint, Service Logistics, Repair order, Inventory management,Install base.
