Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or related field OR 4 years of relevant experience.
• 5 or more years of Java or GOSU development experience.
• Experience developing and maintaining GOSU programs for configuring Guidewire Policycenter, Billingcenter, or Claimcenter applications.
• Strong knowledge and demonstrated ability with Java programming, configuring Guidewire Platform (configuration and integration).
• Strong knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, Guidewire server configurations and clustered deployments.Knowledge of secure software development.
• Advanced skills associated with software design, modification, implementation and deployment, including object-oriented programming concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to develop conversion and system implementation plans.Demonstrated ability to understand functional needs and how systems can support those needs.
• Must be able to interface with management on a regular basis.Demonstrated ability to create software specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute technical narrative to grant proposals.Thorough experience with identification and use of code libraries and open-source forums.
• Demonstrated software repository skills.Experience with planning for deployment and creation of feedback mechanisms.
• Demonstrated testing and test planning skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Intermediate ability to effectively present technical topics to small and medium size technical groups.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7 or more years of web application development experienceTechnical team lead experience.
• Scrum master experience.Guidewire functional or technical certification.
• Experience working with Rally in Agile development teams.Advanced knowledge of secure software development.
• Demonstrated broad problem solving skills.Knowledge or experience in Property  Casualty Insurance
