Role: Software Engineer Lead - SAP Basis Admin
Work Location: Lee's Summit, MO - USBF
Rates: Up to $ 400/day 1099/C2C

 

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE NO VISA ISSUES OR CONTRACTUAL ISSUES THAT PREVENT CONVERSION TO FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT AFTER 3 MONTHS!  THIS IS A NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENT! 
    

The candidate should have 5+ years experience as a Basis Administrator.
The candidate should have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

·         Supporting multiple SAP products such as ECC, BW, XI, portals, BO, Syclo and other SAP products. The candidate will work tickets for these products, apply patches and support packs. 

·         The candidate must have experience working in a mixed server environment including UNIX and Windows servers.

·         The candidate should be familiar with supporting SAP on major databases such as Oracle, DB2, Sybase and Sql Server.

·         The candidate should have basic tuning and troubleshooting skills for SAP systems.

·         The candidate must be comfortable interfacing with both SAP Functional teams and Infrastructure teams such as OS administrators and network admins.

·         Candidate must be willing to provide problem resolution and be part of a 24x7on-sall support team.

 

10% Perform installations, upgrades and patch applications to SAP software products
10% Interface with cross functional technical teams (Infrastructure and database teams) and business unit IT staff while providing leadership and guidance for S
AP platform 
50% Operational support of complex SAP environments.
30% Database Administration for SAP Systems


5+ years of direct SAP Basis and Netweaver Java administration.
The candidate must be proficient in the administration, maintenance and tuning of multiple SAP systems. Administration will include performing installations, up
grades and providing on-going maintenance on various SAP Business package applications.  

Must have excellent skills with troubleshooting failures.

·         Netweaver certification prefered.

·         Project Management skills are a plus.

·         No direct management of people.

·         Interface with cross functional technical teams (Infrastructure and database teams) and business unit IT staff while providing leadership and guidance for SAP platform

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills required to interface with client.Candidate must be capable of complex problem solving in a fast paced multi-client environment

·         Candidate is responsible for monitoring own time, expenses, progress.
