Work location: Dallas, TX
Rates: $45/hr AI  | Local Candidate or All Inclusive

 

Role:  Test Lead (Reports to Test Manager)
Responsibilities
 Prepares test strategy /test approach/ project or test plan and test closure report.
 Provides scope definition, detailed effort estimation 
 Ensures Test Environment Readiness
 Provides knowledge transfer within the team and training for the team members
 Allocates & monitors tasks
 Provides project issue/ conflict resolution
 Co-ordinates and manages the schedules of the test team and onsite-offshore team activities
 Provides daily and weekly project status reporting 
 Responsible for team coordination and team meetings
 Maintains test-ware (Test Cases, Tests Data, and Test Stubs/Harnesses) in auditable form.
 Responsible for Configuration Management and monitoring Change Management, Scope Creep
 Coordinates with the Automation Test Team and Development team if required
 Ensures team adherence to quality standards/process and time schedules
 Plans, validates tests, Identifies and plans re-tests.
 Provides defect analysis, management and metrics collation and analysis
 Provides risk analysis and risk mitigation planning
 Defines test case writing methodology and techniques
 Responsible for facilitating testing project process audits / certifications
 Reviews and guides Test Executors / Test engineers in testing activities
 Ensures Requirement Analysis and Test Coverage Education:
 Undergraduate degree with sound computer background and testing experience.
 Testing Certification desirable
 Business Domain Competency

Experience:
 7-8 years

Skills:
 Advanced knowledge in Configuration Management, Change Management, Defect management and tools used
 Advanced level of knowledge on Platforms like Windows / Unix / Mainframes / Midrange
 Leadership skills / experience leading large teams
 Intermediate knowledge of testing tools
 Good communication and interpersonal skills, conflict management, presentation skills, negotiation skills, and training skills.
 Advanced / Expert Level Testing skills
