{SAP JOBS USA:151480} HR Information Architect

Role: Programmer/Developer Lead - HR Information Architect
Work Location:  Redmond, WA

 

The Information Architect (IA) resource to work in alignment with the HR Strategy across all HR Service Lines, including, but not limited to: Attracting Talent, Learning and Development and HR Core Services:

This resource will be focused on the following IA mission: 
- Simplify data management to reduce operational costs and improve on data transparency 
- Provide data clarity and data categorization that can be adequately measured by business 
- Deliver insights to business in thinking of new ways to leverage data for their business function 
- Identify single source of truth, reduce time spent on impact analysis 
- Provide efficiencies in data management and a consistent way in which data changes are applied. Allows the organization to be less reactive in approach to data management 

In order to achieve the targets above the IA resource will create the following deliverables (aligned as per individual service line project needs): 


Data Dictionary Provides definitions of core list of entities and attributes important to the business. Document referenced by all in need of the data, to determine if right data is sourced for business need e.g. reporting. This is a major input into Data Governance for Microsoft HR. 
-Data Flow Diagrams - End to end visual representation of the business function showing step by step the types of data produced, by whom, on what system, usage 
and potential data gaps. Leveraged to discuss data pain points at a transactional level 
-Logical Data Models - A data landscape for services and identified core data objects and attributes available for use. 
-Active involvement in fixing data gaps identified- This will involve set up and running of data audits. Reviewing gaps understanding reasoning and proactively 
reaching out to teams to fix issue if outside of IA scope to do so. Also work on data cleanup activities 
- Help establish a Data Governance program รข€" Work with business in classifying HR data, working in the capacity as a data steward to manage changes to data and 
creating artifacts/templates for data change management.
