USG direct client is looking for Business Analyst at Jersey city, NJ

Requirements:

Strong verbal and written analytical and communication skills with the ability to work independently on highly technical system solutions. The perspective employee needs to have a solid understanding of Operational Risk and Business & Technology Resiliency / Business Continuity Planning with an emphasis on the Financial Services industry. The following define the overall candidate requirement:

•      10+ years of experience in financial software or financial services

•      Experience in analyzing and creating business and technical requirements documents in a fast paced, ever changing environment.

•      Prior experience interfacing with Client Senior Management

•      Ability to classify Change Requests and Enhancements with Logical Reasoning.

•      Prior experience in case management, risk tracking system, workflow system – will be added plus.

•      Ability to work with Interfaces Data and Golden Sources for Integration.

•      Prior experiences working with cross functional Teams across time zones.

•      Experience analyzing, testing, documenting new features and functions required by the system.

•      Understanding of client's needs and translating into technical requirements for development.

•      Ability to troubleshooting client reported issues and providing recommendations for solution

•      Ability to carry out User Acceptance Testing and focus on Usability

•      Ability to implement test plans /scenarios to ensure successful rollout and delivery

•      High level of analytical skills

•      Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

•      Strong business and systems analysis skills

•      Strong MS Excel, Visio, MS Power point

•      Knowledge of HP ALM / QC is required

•      Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus

•      Ability to work in a project oriented environment and meet deadlines under tight time constraint

•      Ability to work in a very fast-paced, high-stress position

•      Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
