Location: Jersey city, NJ

Position Type: Contract to hire

Job description :

Requirements:

Strong verbal and written analytical and communication skills with the ability to work independently on highly technical system solutions. The perspective employee needs to have a solid understanding of Operational Risk and Business & Technology Resiliency / Business Continuity Planning with an emphasis on the Financial Services industry. The following define the overall candidate requirement:

10+ years of experience in financial software or financial services

Experience in analyzing and creating business and technical requirements documents in a fast paced, ever changing environment.

Prior experience interfacing with Client Senior Management

Ability to classify Change Requests and Enhancements with Logical Reasoning.

  Prior experience in case management, risk tracking system, workflow system – will be added plus.

  Ability to work with Interfaces Data and Golden Sources for Integration.

  Prior experiences working with cross functional Teams across time zones.

Experience analyzing, testing, documenting new features and functions required by the system.

Understanding of client's needs and translating into technical requirements for development.

Ability to troubleshooting client reported issues and providing recommendations for solution

Ability to carry out User Acceptance Testing and focus on Usability

Ability to implement test plans /scenarios to ensure successful rollout and delivery

High level of analytical skills

 

Other skills:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong business and systems analysis skills

Strong MS Excel, Visio, MS Power point

Knowledge of HP ALM / QC is required

Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus

Ability to work in a project oriented environment and meet deadlines under tight time constraint

Ability to work in a very fast-paced, high-stress position

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
