Position: SAP BW Developer 

Location: Bellevue, WA

Duration: 6+ Months

Note: Candidate must have ABAP experience on recent projects with BW versions 7.3

 

In these roles you will have an opportunity to:

• Build and enhance BI objects such as InfoObjects, InfoCubes, InfoSources/Data Sources, Master Data, Transformations, Update Rules, ODS, Extractors, InfoSets, Aggregates, Process Chains, User Exits, BADI
• Develop new ABAP objects and enhance existing ones related to BW work
• Perform routine program modifications, performance tuning, problem solving, debugging, and unit and regression testing.
• Work with functional consultants to understand requirements, suggest and implement solutions
• Troubleshoot / resolve problems reported by project teams.
• Participate in integration and UAT and fix any issues identified

Required qualifications for this role include:

• 5+ years of SAP BW Development experience
• 3+ years of SAP ABAP Experience
• Thorough knowledge of BW Data Modeling concepts like star and extended star schemas and InfoCube design for good report performance
• BW Development experience in SD, MM & FI functional areas
• Experience with user exits and BADI creation and enhancement
• Experience in performance tuning
• Experience in Enterprise Portal is an added advantage
• HANA experience will be an added advantage
