Title: Business Objects Report Developer

Location: Lorain, OH

Duration: 3-6 months

Rate: $53/hr on C2C all inclusive

 

National Atlanta based organization is seeking a Business Objects Report Developer to join their team in Lorain OH for a 2-4 months special project.  Seeking Business Object Developers who are familiar with migrating reports from MicroStrategy to Business Object.  Candidates must posses knowledge of both reporting tools in addition to writing SQL in Teradata. 

Specific experience required:

• Business Object 3.1 advance report design
• Experience creating ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading)
• Experience with MicroStrategy version 7.0 or greater
• Experience with converting reports from MicroStrategy to Business Object

Additional experience required:

• 5 to 7 years of experience with SQL
• 5 to 7 years of experience with DB2, Teradata or other equivalent DBMS
• 5 to 7 years of experience with Business Objects XI
• 5 to 7 years programming experience in Business Intelligence discipline
• Database design skills including denormalization and data warehouse design
• Knowledge of the Universe a
• Excellent report development skills
• Advanced SQL skills
• Structured troubleshooting skills
• Report performance tuning experience
• Experience in the retail industry, a plus

Required Toolset

• Business Objects XIR2  (no older versions required)
• Teradata v2R6
