Title : Python/Backend Developer

Location : San Francisco, CA

Duration : 6 Months Contract

Description:

· We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join the team and help build out our product.

· We are looking for people who want to work in an environment where you get to really make a difference in what the product and company become.

· This is a really amazing opportunity to be one of the first members of our Engineering Team in San Francisco!

Must Haves:

· 4-5+ years of relevant engineering experience

· Expertise with Python (DJango a plus), Ruby, or Java

· Strong OO knowledge

· TDD/BDD believer and advocate

· Ability to translate a complex problem into a diagram that a child could understand

· Experience working on a SOA

· Eagerness to support and mentor less experienced members of the team

Nice to Haves:

· Desire to solve hard problems, especially ones related to processing large amounts of data

· Interest in scalable web technologies (Distributed Computing, Large-Scale Document Stores, Cloud-Computing DevOps)

· Efficient code reviewer

· Experience working with SQL and NoSql data stores
