Description:

The Iguana Device Integration Programmer is responsible for designing and constructing interfaces between Epic 2014 modules and multiple disparate medical information systems. The Iguana Device Integration Programmer must have a solid understanding of building interfaces using Epic Bridges. The Iguana Device Integration Programmer should have experience using the HL7 for integrating medical systems or experience with integrating medical devices into Epic 2014. The Iguana Device Integration Analyst must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to translate user requirements into working interfaces.

In the resume please highlight the candidates experience with EPIC Bridge. If they do not have epic bridges please highlight any other EMR integration experience. Also make sure to add the number of years of experience this candidate has Programming an Iguana Device Integration in the resume.

Requirements:

· Must have 2 years of experience Design, build and implement system interfaces utilizing the Iguana, Ensemble interface engines and related toolsets

o Utilize Unix skills to facilitate the data transfer of information between foreign systems

o Work with other team members to create the necessary documentation and specifications

o Provide technical support to all existing and future interfaces

o Integrate hospital systems (experience using Iguana) for Medical Device Integration

o Troubleshoot and resolve daily interface and data quality issues

o Provide technical support for interfaces

· EPIC Bridge experience is HUGE-EMR integration experience of other products are acceptable

· Technical analyst with experience in Medical Device Integration into Epic

o ?Strong understanding of ETL, data loads and data extract

o Experience building and maintaining modular ETL applications

o Extensive experience with ETL and source-to-target mapping techniques and data migration

o Experience performing source code/versioning management function adhering to technical guidelines preferred

o Epic Bridges certification and HL7 or device integration experience

· Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.

· General understanding of business environments

· Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to clearly and effectively interact with a diverse group of individuals to secure and/or provide information to clarify situations, resolve problems.

· Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.

· Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator.

· Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project
