Programmer/Developer Lead - J2EE Designer
The Designer will execute Java/J2EE solutions and have responsibility for technical requirements elaboration, detailed design, development, code review, and testing. This person will supports technical design activities related to application software, data, databases, packaged solutions and infrastructure components.
This person will have the capability to design, develop and distribute technical reusable components.
Skills
• Understand Identity and Access Management, SAML 2.0 based SSO a plus
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum
• Knowledge of security handling during the design process, including security testing, SQL injection, etc.
• Experience with Application Server build and deployment activities (WebLogic preferred). Knowledge of shell scripts for deployment activities.
• Profiling of application for memory, performance, code coverage, etc., using tools like JProbe, JProfiler, etc.
• Experience with debugging JavaScript and WebServices
Required Skills
• 5+ years of core Java Enterprise development experience, including JSP, Servlets, etc.
• Should be able to mentor more junior team members.
• 2+ years of experience with Web Services, including SOAP
• 1+ year of RESTful (JAX-RS using Jersey a plus).
• 1-2 years experience in EJB 2.x/3.0
• 3+ years of JSF, or equivalent UI framework, such as Struts, etc.
• 1+ years of experience with JavaScript framework, such as JQuery, dojo, GWT, EXT-JS, YUI
• 3+ years of experience with JDBC, must understand transaction management, concurrency, JDBC exceptions.
• 2+ years of experience with advanced relational database concepts, such as normalization. Experience with Oracle (preferred), SQL Server, MySQL or DB2.
• 2+ years of experience with Java and JEE design patterns.
• 2+ years of UML diagramming, can correctly use class diagrams, sequence and collaboration diagrams, package diagrams
• Understand web security concepts (OWASP threats)
• 2+ years of Java enterprise application build â€" familiar with ant at minimum;
• Application Server experience with WebLogic (preferred), WebSphere, and/or JBoss.
• Experience with code quality and code metric tools as well as code reviews.
• Experienced in design skills, including detailed low level design, review and high level concepts about DB design.
