Position: Physical Design Engineer
Location: Hillsborough, OR
Type: 1 year contract
Well versed with the complete RTL to GDS design flow for Hierarchical designs.
Experience in synthesis flow with involvement in multiple tape outs.
Strong hands-on experience with Floor planning, power planning, placement, clock tree synthesis , timing optimization .
Participated in the top/block level timing closure (STA) of multi-million gate ASICs
Expertise in ICV based DRC-LVS closure (14nm experience would be plus ) .
Good understanding of Reliability verification checks EM , IR etc
EDA Tool Expertise : DC-compiler, IC-compiler, PrimeTime-SI, StarXT, ICV, Conformal LEC , Redhawk .
Proficiency in scripting language, such as, Perl, Tcl, make is required. Experience in methodology or flow development/automation would be a plus.
Basic knowledge of standard cell libraries
