PHP developer
Duration:3-6 Months
Location: NYC
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Understand both the frontend and backend of WordPress.
•Modify and customize plugins for our sites. Create new plugins, as necessary.
•Evaluate and implement WordPress plugins from third party vendors
•Develop highly scalable, custom applications for the web (mostly WordPress).
•Maintain and enhance PHP code.
SKILLS:
•PHP (5+ years of experience)
•Proficient with developing WordPress Themes and plugins (5+ years of experience)
•Strong troubleshooting skills
•Expert JavaScript/ jQuery development experience
•HTML 5, CSS3 (2+ years)
•Familiar with Version control Systems (SVN is a plus)
•Write clean, well-documented code
•Work well in a team environment
•Excellent communication skills
