Title: Certified Linux/Unix System Administrator (Any RedHat certification)
Location: Monterey Park, CA
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 3-6 Months
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
• Provides the Tier 3 support and serves on the front line as technical personnel on the System Administration team
• Provide administrative support of UNIX/Linux systems. Duties include installing the operating system, managing the configurations, troubleshooting, monitoring the status of all systems and applications, etc.
• Serves as the senior level System Administrator
Relevant Certification:
• At least one UNIX certification is required (e.g. any RedHat certification)
Requirements:
• Applicants selected must currently possess the required security clearance, will be subject to a government security investigation, and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
• 5+ years experience in the system administration field
• Experienced in writing scripts (Shell and PERL) to automate administration functions and to parse files
• Technically proficient at installing, configuring, and maintaining UNIX (both in a physical and virtual environment)
• 4+ years experience as a system administrator for the Red Hat Linux operating system
