Position:  Client Server Developer V. (C/C++)

Location:  Santa Clara, California

Duration:  9 Months

 

*LOCAL CANDIDATES ARE PREFERRED*

 

We have a 9+month contract opportunity for a Client Server Developer/Programmer in Santa Clara, CA.  This person will be part of the Network Data Loss Prevention team and the responsibilities include Development, Enhancement and Sustenance of products.

The product suite you will be supporting consists of a 4 different Linux based appliances called DLP Manager, Monitor, Prevent and Discover.

Must Have Experience for Client Server Developer:
MS in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred and BS is required

8-15 yrs experience with Software Systems Development and Maintenance.
Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP & application protocols (HTTP, POP3, SMTP, IMAP, FTP etc).
Strong C/C++ design and implementation skills

Ability to read and understand large code bases
Good debugging skills and ability to troubleshoot complex problems

Must be able to analyze core file
Ability to reproduce customer problems in-house

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pluses:
Proficiency in any scripting language (Ex:- Shell/PERL/Tcl/Python)
Knowledge of security concepts
