Technical Lead – Microsoft VC++ and VB

Work Location     :    Stamford, CT
Duration     :    12 Months

Relevant Experience (Yrs)     :    6+ Years
Technical/Functional Skills     :    Visual C++ ,Visual Basic 6.0, Oracle, MS Access, C++
Experience Required        Should have good technical experience in working with VC++, Oracle and VB technologies. Experience in MS Access based application development would be of additional advantage.
Roles & Responsibilities    :   
1.    Participate in functional workshops with business and other vendor stakeholders and gather requirements.
2.    Analyze requirements and come up with design for the changes proposed to the application
3.    Get the technical design document reviewed and approved by Integration Architects in customer location
4.    Perform code development based on technical design document
5.    Create unit test cases and regression test cases document with help from offshore team and get the document approved by customer.
6.    Impart requirements and design knowledge to offshore team and come up with development plan.
7.    Monitor day to day development progress and report deviations to project manager.
8.    Build packages for deployment to QA and Production environments.
9.    Assist testing team/Business users with queries regarding the changes.
10.    Resolve issues identified during testing phases and re-deploy the changes in user desktops.
11.    Ensure production deployment is smooth and perform smoke testing to ensure appropriate package is deployed in production.
